• Login Credentials: Username, password (encrypted).
• Institution Details: School name, class, student ID or employee ID.

• Log data such as time of login, pages or features accessed.
• App usage statistics (for improving our services).

c. Communications

• Messages or queries sent through the platform, including support requests.

d. Mobile App-Specific Data and Permissions

• Login: Users can only log in to the App using credentials provided by the school. Registration is available only via the web application.

• User Token: After login, a secure user token is generated and stored locally on your device in the app’s private storage for authentication. This token is essential to maintain your logged-in session.

• Password Reset: If you forget your password, you can reset it from the App by entering your username. An OTP (one-time password) will be sent to your registered mobile number. After entering the OTP, you can set a new password.

• Push Notifications and notification permission: The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) by Google to send real-time notifications A unique device token is securely stored locally on your device in Async Storage and also transmitted to our secure servers solely for the purpose of delivering push notifications to your device. For this app request notification permission

• Storage and Media Gallery Permissions: The App requests device storage and media gallery access only to save images and PDF files downloaded by you from the Workdesk feature. No other files, photos, or data are accessed, viewed, or used by the App. You will be prompted for this permission at the time of download, and it is entirely optional.

• Logout: You can log out of the App at any time. Logging out removes your session and authentication tokens from your device.

• Account Deletion: Account deletion is not available directly in the App. To delete your account and all associated data, please log in to the MCHS web portal or contact your school administrator.

• No Other Permissions: The App does not access your location, contacts, microphone, camera, or SMS.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the System and App functionality.
• To authenticate user logins and secure access to your account.
• To communicate important information and updates, including real-time push notifications via the App.
• To respond to user queries and provide customer support.
• To monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve our services and develop new features
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared:

• With school administrators and teachers for educational and administrative purposes directly related to your use of the System.
• With trusted third-party service providers (such as secure cloud hosting providers like Google Cloud Platform, analytics services like Google Analytics for Firebase, and push notification services like Firebase Cloud Messaging) who assist us in operating or supporting our System and App. All such providers are carefully selected, bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements, and are only permitted to process data for the specific services they provide to us.
• If required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Security and Storage

• All sensitive data, including encrypted login credentials, user tokens, and device tokens, are stored securely in encrypted databases on our servers or within your device’s app private storage.
• All communications with our servers are encrypted using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols to protect data in transit.
• Downloaded images and PDFs from the Workdesk are stored locally on your device's storage for your reference. These files are your responsibility; we recommend not sharing them in violation of school or privacy guidelines.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your information as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain your active account, and fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations.
• Logging out from the App removes your authentication and device tokens from your device.
• Downloaded images and PDFs remain on your device until you manually delete them.
• To fully delete your account and all associated data from our systems, please log in to the MCHS web portal or contact your school administrator. Your school administrator is responsible for initiating account deletion requests with us.

6. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
• Request a copy of your data.

7. Children's Privacy

• App is intended only for use by authorized adults/parents.
• All data about children is managed under the authority and direction of the educational institution and parental control.
• We do not knowingly permit children to access the App or directly collect children’s personal information through the App.
• The school is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent and permissions as required by applicable laws regarding children's data

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.
• Changes will be posted on this page with the updated "Last Updated" date.
